They faced challenges in setting up the orange roads connecting to the starting place, however, I helped them figure out that in order for the road to be sturdier. The orange road and starting place piece slide into each other for a stronger hold. They often forgot to bring up the elevator box from the zip line! Lots of little details in the design make it really interesting visually. It holds attention because you never know which racer will win and which will get eaten by the prehistoric sea creature. It is large but comes apart for storage. She hasn't watched Jurassic world yet but still loves it. She likes racing both cars up the ramp and giggles whenever one falls into the dinosaur's mouth. It's always a surprise as to which one makes it and which one doesn't. The two cars of Owen and Blue are well made with great detailing such as the Jurassic world logo. This set comes with two cars, one with a dinosaur and one with a little man. They're different from the usual hot wheels cars but the track itself is the same as other sets. You place the cars in the starting lanes, press the buttons and the cars take off. Which ever car gets to the top first goes thru the building and rides the zip line to the end. The other car usually crashes and is knocked into the jaws at the bottom. It stays interesting because they can connect other track they have and use other hotwheels cars. My kids have added in pieces of track and obstacles between the starting lanes and the zip line and tried out all their cars. They're just racing cars, but they talk about which one will go further or faster, which ones will make it to the zip line and why or why not. I love to see that kind of play. Assembly for this set was easy. The product was easy to assemble and the instruction manual was helpful in putting the toy together. Once assembled, the toy is easy to use. Children can play with it independently without the help of an adult. The colors are inviting and presentation of the toy gets the attention of the child. My eight-year-old was able to read the instructions and put it together himself within just a few minutes. They played with it in our living room for about 45 minutes, having races to see who would win while I cooked dinner. I eventually moved this into my four-year-old's room since he loves dinosaurs and Hot Wheels. He will play with this for quite a long time and play with it several times a week. My kids who are both boys and girls had a lot of fun racing each other. Sometimes only one car would make it across the entire track or into the mouth while the other fell down to the ground. They still had a lot of fun seeing what would happen especially when both cars ended up in Mosasaurus&rsquo; mouth. The track is made of sturdy plastic and is packaged nicely.
